Surrogacy in Georgia is legally permitted and has become a viable option for many intended parents worldwide. Georgian legislation stipulates that surrogates have no parental rights over the child born through surrogacy. Once the child is born, the intended parents are automatically recognized as the legal parents, and the surrogate has no claims to parental rights or responsibilities.
Surrogacy in Georgia is exclusively available to heterosexual couples. To qualify, couples must be either legally married or in a committed relationship living together for at least one year.
At Tammuz, we ensure that every surrogate meets the highest standards through a comprehensive and meticulous screening process before being accepted into the program. Each surrogate must have experienced at least one healthy pregnancy and birth for herself prior to joining.
During the pregnancy, surrogates continue to live with their families and maintain their usual routines, supported by regular checkups with leading medical professionals at our cutting-edge partner clinics. Their pregnancies are closely monitored, following Western-standard prenatal care plans. This includes all standard pregnancy evaluations alongside routine blood tests to confirm their overall health remains optimal for a safe and successful delivery.
Surrogates are generously compensated for their invaluable role, empowering them to create a secure future for their children and families. This meaningful collaboration underscores our commitment to ethical practices and mutual respect throughout the surrogacy journey.
Intended parents (IPs) have access to a diverse database of local Georgian egg donors, carefully screened for both psychological and medical criteria. Detailed profiles of the donors are provided, including genetic information, medical history, education, employment background, hobbies and interests, family medical history, and current photographs. This ensures that IPs can make informed decisions with confidence.

Tammuz Family oversees all legal aspects of your surrogacy journey in Georgia. This includes drafting and managing contracts with egg donors and surrogates and obtaining a birth certificate listing the intended parents as the baby’s legal parents. Our team ensures that every legal detail is handled seamlessly, so you can focus on welcoming your new family member.
After the birth of your baby, Tammuz case managers will guide you through the exit process. However, we strongly recommend that intended parents consult with an immigration lawyer in their home country to ensure compliance with local laws. This added step will provide peace of mind and streamline your return home with your newborn.
Costs are inclusive and cover all medical and legal procedures, as well as the surrogate’s and baby’s health insurance (hospitalization, neonatal ICU, and medical complications).
The Guaranteed Program was created to offer IPs peace of mind and financial security. Tammuz commits to continuing the various stages of the process until your baby is born, meaning no additional payment is required if stages need to be repeated (e.g., egg donation, IVF, new surrogate matching, new legal agreement, etc.).
The cost of the Guaranteed Program in Colombia starts from $72,500, while the Self-Retrieval Program starts from $58,500, and the Existing Embryos Program starts from $55,500. The amounts may vary depending on medical, legal, or other specific needs as per the contract.
The donors are Georgian women. Selection is made through a dedicated website with detailed profiles including photos, medical information, education, hobbies, and more.

No two families take the same road. Some want the streamlined expediency of a US surrogacy program. Others need the most competitively priced path forward and find it in Colombia or Mexico, where costs can be 40–50% lower without sacrificing quality.
