The Surrogacy Agency Built for Every Kind of Family

You Dream Babies, We Make it Happen. Gay couples. Single men. Single women. Heterosexual couples. Whoever you are, Tammuz Family has helped more than 2,000 families across 32 nationalities become parents through surrogacy with programs in the USA, Mexico, Colombia, Georgia, and Armenia.

A Surrogacy Agency You Can Actually Trust

Tammuz Family was founded in 2008 by Doron Mamet-Meged, someone who went through the surrogacy process personally. That background shapes everything about how we work.

We’re one of the few surrogacy agencies in the USA with active programs across five countries. That means more options, more flexibility, and depending on where you go, significantly lower costs. Our programs in Colombia and Mexico can run $40,000–$60,000 less than a US-only program, with the same medical standards and legal protections.

Over 2,000 babies were born. Families across 32 countries. Surrogacy for gay couples, single men, single women, and heterosexual couples, with a team that’s been there, in many cases, themselves.

We’re not a referral network. We handle everything in-house, from connecting you with fertility clinics and providing you with egg donors to scheduling your fertilization (IVF), to matching you with the right surrogate and partnering with expert legal teams in every destination country we work in.

Surrogacy Programs in 5 Countries: Find What Fits You

No two families take the same road. Some want the streamlined expediency of a US surrogacy program. Others need the most competitively priced path forward and find it in Colombia or Mexico, where costs can be 40–50% lower without sacrificing quality.

All of our programs in the United States, Mexico, Colombia, Armenia and Georgia are managed directly by Tammuz. Same team. Same standards. Different destinations.

Click a destination below to see costs, estimated timelines, and what the legal process looks like in each country.

Every surrogate in our program has already delivered at least one healthy baby. That’s a baseline requirement, not a nice-to-have.

As part of the matching process, each surrogate undergoes a comprehensive medical and psychological screening. We look at physical health, family history, motivation, and lifestyle. The goal isn’t just finding someone who qualifies, it’s finding someone you’ll trust to carry your child.

Whether you need an egg donor for a gay surrogacy program, a single father journey, or a heterosexual couple with fertility challenges, our donor database is built for that.

Every donor profile includes genetic history, medical records, employment background, education, photos, and more. You choose. We coordinate everything after that.

All donors go through the same medical and psychological screening as our surrogates. There are no shortcuts in this process.

Surrogacy Questions, Answered Honestly

What does a surrogacy agency actually do?

A surrogacy agency manages the entire process. Finding and screening surrogates, coordinating with fertility clinics, handling legal contracts, supporting you through the pregnancy, and helping with the birth certificate and parentage process. Tammuz does all of this directly, without subcontracting to third parties. We have offices in over 15 countries and manage every step in-house.

It depends on the country. A full surrogacy program in the USA typically runs $130,000–$180,000. Programs in Colombia, Mexico, and Georgia can be significantly less, often $60,000–$90,000, with comparable medical quality and legal frameworks. We’ll walk you through a  in your free consultation. See our detailed cost breakdown.

Yes, gay men and same-sex male couples make up a significant portion of the families we work with. All of our surrogacy programs include full egg donation coordination and are designed to support gay intended parents from start to finish, including in destinations that are legally friendly to same-sex parents.

Absolutely. Single men are another community we actively serve. The process involves finding an egg donor, fertilizing with your sperm, and matching you with a surrogate. Some countries are more straightforward than others for single intended fathers and we’ll help you figure out which program makes the most sense.

From your first consultation to bringing your baby home, most journeys take 18–24 months. The timeline includes surrogate matching (1–3 months), IVF and embryo transfer (2–4 months), pregnancy (9 months), and post-birth legal steps (1–3 months depending on the country).

There’s no single answer, it depends on your budget, your legal needs, and your timeline. The USA offers the strongest legal protections but the highest cost. Colombia and Mexico are more affordable with increasing legal clarity. Georgia and Armenia are well-established options for international intended parents. We’ll help you compare in your consultation.

We’re a full-service surrogacy agency not a broker or referral service. That means we employ our own coordinators, have relationships with our own screened surrogates and donors, and manage the legal and medical process directly in every country we operate in. You work with one team throughout.

Egg donors

All donors undergo comprehensive medical and genetic testing, and each has a profile with information and photos.

The surrogates

Surrogates participating in our programs undergo medical and psychological screening based on the standards and requirements of the destination where the journey takes place. They are required to have previously experienced at least one healthy pregnancy and birth. In some destinations, intended parents may also can get to know their surrogate and build a meaningful relationship throughout the journey, with communication and support shaped around everyone’s preferences and the structure of the program.

Legal support in the surrogacy process

Surrogacy involves legal steps throughout the journey, not only at the end. Tammuz coordinates legal services as part of each program, including the surrogacy agreement and destination-country birth documentation. Frequently Asked Questions

We have gathered all the answers to the most important and frequently asked questions for you, so you can find clear, reliable, and up-to-date information in one place, easily and conveniently.

What is gestational surrogacy, and how is it different from traditional surrogacy?

In gestational surrogacy, the surrogate has no genetic connection to the child; the embryo is created using the intended parents’ and/or donors’ eggs and sperm and transferred to the surrogate. In traditional surrogacy, the surrogate’s own egg is used. Gestational surrogacy is the model used in Tammuz programs and is more widely supported by clinics, courts, and law in most jurisdictions.

Surrogacy law in the US is set at the state level, not federally, so it varies significantly. Some states have clear statutes supporting compensated gestational surrogacy for a wide range of family structures, others rely on case law or add conditions such as marital status, and a small number restrict or prohibit compensated surrogacy. The state where your surrogate gives birth, not the state where you live, generally determines the legal process. We’ll help you understand which state pathway applies to your program, and recommend independent legal counsel for your specific circumstances.

Yes, many US intended parents work with Tammuz for international programs, often for reasons related to cost structure, program model, or personal preference. We’ll walk you through how the process compares to a US-based journey so you can decide what fits your family.

Yes. We coordinate programs for same-sex couples across several destinations, subject to the eligibility, medical, and legal requirements of each one.

Yes. We work with single intended parents, including single men and single women, across a number of destinations, subject to each program’s eligibility, medical, and legal requirements.

Yes. We’ve accompanied intended parents who are HIV carriers through successful surrogacy journeys, subject to medical review and the requirements of the applicable program and destination.

Not necessarily; it depends on your medical circumstances, your program, and your destination. Some intended parents use their own eggs, others use a donor, and existing-embryo pathways are available for parents who already have embryos.

This depends on the program and destination; some allow direct contact, others coordinate communication through Tammuz. We’ll explain what applies to your specific program before you begin.

This depends on the surrogate’s consent, hospital or clinic rules, and the medical circumstances at the time, and varies by destination. We’ll talk through what’s realistic for your specific program.

This depends on the citizenship laws of your home country, your own citizenship or residency status, and the documentation available after the birth. This generally involves your country’s embassy or consulate in the destination country. We coordinate the destination-country legal and documentation steps; we recommend confirming citizenship requirements directly with your country’s consular services or an immigration lawyer.

Yes. Tammuz coordinates legal services as part of each program, including agreements with the surrogate and destination-country birth documentation, in accordance with the law of that destination. We recommend independent legal counsel in your home country for matters specific to your citizenship, parentage recognition, and any restrictions that may apply where you live.

Yes. Our team maintains communication throughout the pregnancy, coordinates with the professionals involved, and provides regular updates while helping you prepare for the birth, documentation, and journey home.
