Tammuz Family has been supporting Australian Intended Parents on their international surrogacy journeys since 2015. Steven Swanepoel, our Territory Manager for Oceania and the UK, is proud to be part of the Tammuz team. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business and brings a diverse professional background — from taking to the skies with Virgin Australia International to working in insurance at a leading professional services firm. Steven and his fiancé have completed their own surrogacy journey twice through Tammuz in Colombia, giving him firsthand insight into both the emotional and practical sides of the process. He’s passionate about helping others build their families and is proud to share his experience and guidance with Intended Parents across Australia, UK and New Zealand. What I love most about Tammuz Family is that when Intended Parents join us, they can truly focus on the excitement of building their family — knowing we’re here to handle every step from start to finish, and beyond. We take care of everything: from egg donor and surrogate matching to IVF, legal work, the exit process back to Australia, and round-the-clock local support. Since stepping into this role, I’m proud to say the number of Australian parents beginning their surrogacy journey has soared — and we’ve now built the largest local community of any surrogacy agency in the country. We have Tammuz Case Manager and Territory Manager representation across Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne! One of my favourite parts of the job is bringing intended parents together from all walks of life at our social events, where they can share their stories and support others on the same path. These events are relaxed, inclusive, and a lot of fun — held regularly across Australia, New Zealand, and the UK in everything from hotels to bars and restaurants.
