Surrogacy in Ukraine is legal for married heterosexual couples ONLY. According to Ukrainian law, IP’s will need to supply a letter from their fertility doctor that explains the medical reason why they cannot conceive naturally and why they wish to pursue a surrogacy journey in Ukraine. IP’s may choose between a basic plan (without egg donation) and a Guarantee plan (with egg donation).
All of the Tammuz Family surrogates in Ukraine reside in and around the beautiful city of Kiev. They all undergo a lengthy and rigorous screening process before being accepted in to the program and they must have had at least one healthy baby derived from a successful pregnancy. During the pregnancy, the surrogates live with their families and maintain their lifestyles as per usual. They have regular visits at the clinic, monitoring their pregnancies according to the pregnancy plan. They undergo all the customary pregnancy tests in addition to periodic blood tests to ensure that their overall health is satisfactory and on track for a successful birth. The surrogates are generously compensated for the service they provide. As this process enables them to secure a future for their children and their families, their motivations are primarily economic.
Tammuz Family gives IP’s access to a database of egg donors from South Africa and Ukraine. All of the Tammuz Family egg donors undergo psychological and medical screening and IP’s are provided with the donor’s genetic profile, medical history, education, employment history, interests/hobbies and family medical history.
After the birth of your baby, you are required to apply for a ‘citizenship by descent’ and then subsequently a passport from the country you hold citizenship in. This process generally takes 4-6 weeks post birth so IP’s need to plan in advance and know they will be required to stay in Ukraine until the passport has been issued. Surrogacy in the U.S.A
Surrogacy in the U.S.A is legal in various states in the U.S.A. Our Guarantee Plans in the USA offer affordable surrogacy solutions with uncompromising quality. In addition to our four unique Guarantee Plans we also offer a range of ‘pay as you go’ plans. Regardless of which plan you choose we offer comprehensive support throughout the entire surrogacy journey.
All of our surrogates in the USA are American citizens living in different cities. They all undergo a lengthy and rigorous screening process before being accepted in to the program and they must have had at least one healthy baby derived from a successful pregnancy. They are flown to LA for the embryo transfer (to be performed at Western Medical Institute), however during the pregnancy, they live at home with their families and maintain their usual lifestyles. During the first trimester, the pregnancies are monitored by Dr. Kumar from the Western Fertility Institute. After the first trimester, our surrogates are monitored by their personal physicians in their home city. Throughout the pregnancy, the surrogates undergo all the customary pregnancy tests in addition to regularly scheduled blood tests to ensure that they are healthy and the pregnancy is progressing normally and without complications..
Tammuz Family offers a wide variety of South-African and American egg donors. All of the Tammuz Family egg donors undergo psychological and medical screening and IP’s are provided with the donor’s genetic profile, medical history, education, employment history, interests/hobbies and family medical history. Photographs are also included in their profiles. Our donors are anonymous; however, some donors will agree to ‘meet’ via “Skype”. Intended Parents can choose either fresh or frozen egg donations from Tammuz Egg Bank, depending on the plan and the program.
After the birth, our experienced legal team will ensure that the relevant name/s will be placed on the birth certificate ASAP. The timing will depend on which state your surrogate lives in.

SURROGACY FOR IPs LIVING WITH HIV
Advanced fertility technology enables men who are HIV+ to participate in egg-donor-IVF surrogacy plans and conceive perfectly healthy children. Tammuz Family is proud to help those IPs who need to avail themselves of this technology, known as sperm washing. In May 2017, after reviewing reports on 11,500 assisted-reproductive conception cycles in which sperm washing was used, resulting in no cases where the impregnated woman or the child born of the impregnation contracted HIV, the U.S. Government’s Centers For Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) determined that sperm washing was sufficiently safe enough to endorse. Tammuz Family IPs who elect to have their sperm washed must first undergo special testing at either our U.S.A. clinic in Los Angeles or at the Celagem Clinic in Bogotá, depending on their plan. Once testing is completed and results are approved, sperm washing is performed at the same clinic as part of the Special Program of Assisted Reproduction Plan (SPAR).

Jon Mozes Is delighted to be working as Tammuz Family’s North American Manager. Prior to working for Tammuz, Jon worked as a business services coordinator in The Gillings School Of Global Public Health at The University Of North Carolina in Chapel Hill. Jon has also worked as a literary agent’s assistant in New York City, where he helped to edit and sell several critically-acclaimed works of fiction and nonfiction, including a début novel that ended up on the New York Times’s Best 10 Books Of The Year List. A writer himself, Jon has had several stories and essays published in various literary journals; and he’s also worked as an actor, a director and a playwright. Jon and his husband are the proud parents of a daughter and a son, both born through surrogacy with Tammuz Family in the U.S.A.
